Service areas
Landscape architecture across South Florida.
Our studio is in Fort Lauderdale and we work throughout Broward, Miami-Dade and southern Palm Beach County. Every city has its own landscape code, tree ordinance and review process, and we prepare drawings that meet them.
Local review
Why the municipality matters.
The same garden can be approved in one city and rejected in the next one over.
Landscape codes, tree ordinances, buffer and open-space requirements and irrigation rules are set city by city in South Florida, and they change. A set drawn against the wrong requirements comes back from review, and each round of comments adds weeks to the schedule.
We prepare each set against the requirements of the city the property sits in, submit it, and answer the review comments ourselves. That is the part of the job most owners never see, and it is the part that decides whether a project clears review once or three times.
- Broward and Miami-Dade landscape code: planting quantities, buffers, open-space and shade calculations.
- Tree removal and mitigation: surveys, disposition plans and replacement schedules.
- HOA and architectural review: packages prepared to the association's own format.
- Water restrictions: irrigation zoning designed around the district's watering days.
